WELCOME SONG In 2017 the University of Toronto entered into a relationship with the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. As part of that relationship U of T asked for a welcome song that it could learn and use to welcome visitors. However, these are mostly academics and not musicians, so this video was created to help document and share the teachings.
Tour of Vaughan Road Academy In 2018 the entire school populations of two schools were to be moved to a holding school 20 minutes away, and the students would travel by school bus back and forth. To allay fears, the school arranged a tour of the new school. Homemade TV took the tour and made a 10 minute video for all the families unable to attend.
How to Library This school library needs volunteers, but they all need to have some basic training. Homemade TV volunteered to collaborate with a motivated volunteer coordinator/frustrated playwright and actor and the school librarian to make an "all you need to know" tour of the library- what could be more exciting than a instructional video for a library?
Homemade TV loves working with teachers and students, offering support with video documentation and advice. Videos led by students or volunteers can have huge benefits in influencing their community or inspire great work in students.
